Frequently Asked Questions

An Annual General Meeting (AGM) is an annual meeting where Brunswick Credit Union reports back to its members, the owners of the credit union.

At the AGM, members receive an update on the past year’s financial performance, hear about strategic priorities and upcoming initiatives, and have the opportunity to ask questions about how the credit union is being managed.

It’s also the meeting where members can participate in important governance activities, such as voting on bylaw changes, and where we announce the results of the Board of Directors elections.

In short, the AGM is your chance to stay informed, have your voice heard, and play an active role in the direction of your credit union.

Attending the AGM is a simple way to stay informed and engaged as a Brunswick Credit Union member. You’ll hear an update on our performance over the past year, learn about future plans, and see how we’re serving you and your community.

The AGM is also your opportunity to connect with leadership, ask questions and participate in important governance activities, such as voting on bylaw changes, to help guide where we go next! We also announce the results of the Board of Directors election during the meeting.

The AGM is a key opportunity to make your voice heard and play an active role in the democratic governance that strengthens both Brunswick Credit Union and our province. Your perspective helps guide where we go next.

Prior to the AGM, we will share meeting materials such as the AGM meeting package and consolidated financial statements on the AGM page of our website.

Following the AGM, we will post our Annual Report, a recording of the meeting and our financial statements on our website.

Registration is open from March 30 – April 13, 2026.

To register, you will need to provide your full name, email address and Member ID (9 Digits).

Your Member ID (9 digits) is what you use to sign in for online or mobile banking. On your bank statement you can find it identified as “Account #” (9 digits) on the top right-hand corner.
