Brunswick Credit Union Student Awards

Brunswick Credit Union is offering fifteen (15) $2,000 Student Awards to support students entering or returning to post-secondary studies (Canadian college, university, apprenticeship program, technical institute, or private college) and who embody the values of a good citizen, including social and environmental responsibility, compassion, honesty, integrity, and cooperation.

Applications for the Brunswick Credit Union Student Awards are open from March 2, 2026 and close at 11:59 PM (ADT) April 12, 2026

  • Brunswick CU Employee Child/Grandchild Student Award (2) 

Recipients Receive…

  • An award of $2,000. Funds will be deposited into a Brunswick CU account prior to the start of the academic year (upon receipt of all required documentation).
  • A CU Youth U25 or CU No Fee bank account with Brunswick Credit Union
  • A coaching session about student finances and building good credit.

Atlantic Credit Unions Bursary Program

Credit Unions support the success of students attending college in Atlantic Canada by contributing $25,000 annually to fund bursaries at community colleges across our region.

Each year, Credit Unions offer 25, $1000 bursaries to full time students attending NSCC in Nova Scotia, Holland College in Prince Edward Island, College of the North Atlantic in Newfoundland & Labrador, and NBCC in New Brunswick.

  • Holland College - (4) $1,000
  • College of the North Atlantic – (4) $1,000
  • NBCC (4) - $1,000

To apply, visit the awards page for your college. Application deadlines vary by school but are generally in October or January, be sure to check with your college’s awards office.

Students must demonstrate a commitment to completing their studies, financial need and involvement in their community. Priority may be given to students who are credit union members or can demonstrate an affiliation with the credit union system and/or students who are members of traditionally underrepresented communities.
