Lois Vincent

Board Secretary


Lois has been a member of Bayview Credit Union for 29 years and has served as a Board member, Executive member as a past Secretary, chair of the Credit Committee, Scholarship Committee and has served on the CEO Search Committee.

Prior to retiring in 2012 from Enterprise Saint John, Lois was Manager of Business Development/Manager of Strategic Projects. Since retirement Lois has been working on a part-time basis on strategic projects as well as with entrepreneurs who are starting or expanding a business (some on a volunteer basis). Lois has a certificate in Economic Development from the University of Waterloo.

Lois completed the Credit Union Director Achievement (CUDA) program in 2014 and has completed numerous training courses relevant to the credit union.

Working in economic development has provided Lois with experience in business planning, financial analysis, human resources as well as working in a team environment. Having worked under a Board of Directors, Lois has a good understanding of the roles and responsibilities of management and the Board.

Lois has also gained experience as a board member from other boards that she has served on including past Chair of Saint John Industrial Parks and Vice-Chair of Family Plus .

Lois has five adult children and eight grandchildren. She also has been volunteering with a new family to Canada for 3 years. There are six children in the family aging from 2 to 16.
