Lisa Brookins


Lisa is a multi-faceted professional with 35 years of diverse and progressive experience in the IT industry as an IT Program Manager. Lisa has been a member of Bayview Credit since 2016. She has significant experience within the financial services sector that includes services to credit unions in Ontario and BC. These services include banking system support, migration, release management, disaster recovery, networks, infrastructure and audits.

Lisa has served as a community league basketball coach and referee, companion in Alzheimer’s unit at a senior’s home, various school committees and is a member of 100 Women Who Care.

She is experienced working in a collaborative manner at strategic, tactical and operational levels with strong team building skills. As a small business owner, she understands the fundamentals of building a strong business and being a responsible employer.

Lisa believes her collective experience, mature perspective, business values and ethics can be of benefit to the Board of Directors. She is offering her commitment and time to serve because she feels she can be of genuine service to the Board. Lisa want to give back to the community and to the financial institution who genuinely supports the community and small business. She also believes she would be an asset due to her ability to absorb, analyze and communicate a variety of complex information.

Lisa is a life-long learner and is always seeking solutions. She is currently 30% complete towards her MBA. She believes her personal values align with the Bayview values of passion, integrity, diversity/inclusion, innovation and quality.

On a personal note, Lisa is a Maritimer, growing up on PEI, and is married to a lobster fisherman, Michael Parker, and they are raising 2 teenage boys, Patrick and Peter.
