Bayview Credit Union wants you to have confidence and trust in online banking, that’s why we have added Increased Authentication. Increased Authentication enhances the security of the MemberDirect® online banking environment by adding a challenge question and answer during the login stage. The potential for online fraud is greatly reduced by this feature. To ensure your financial information is protected and secure, Increased Authentication activates every time you log in to online banking.
- Multiple login layers enhance member security
- Enhanced security relies on member-selected questions and answers
- Access to online banking automatically locks after a series of incorrect login attempts

In order to ensure the integrity and safety of our online banking service, all members who use online banking must register for Increased Authentication.
Signing up for Increased Authentication only takes a few minutes

Registering your computer for faster logins
You can speed up the login process by opting to register your computer. When you log in from a registered computer, you don’t have to answer a security question after entering your PAC. However, if you login from an unregistered computer, you will have to answer one of your chosen security questions.
Registering your home or personal computer is recommended for faster logins. You should not register shared or public computers. Cookies are used to identify registered computers. If you clear your cookies, you will have to re-register your computer.
