Anna Florczynski
Chief Executive Officer
Anna has been a valued member of the Bayview Credit Union team since 1982. She has an extensive knowledge of and experience in the Credit Union System. She has served in various capacities including acting CEO, Chief Financial Officer, and Finance and Administration Manager.
Anna’s commitment to top-level financial management at Bayview and her more than 20 years of experience in serving Bayview members make her a fundamental part of the success of Bayview Credit Union.
Anna holds a Certified General Accountant designation, an Associate of Credit Unions Institute of Canada designation, a diploma in management from St. Mary's University and a diploma in Personnel Human Resources. Additionally, she is a graduate of Dale Carnegie Training and of numerous professional development courses.
Anna’s connections in the Saint John community are deep and numerous and she is a member of the Saint John Board of Trade.
J.D. (Derek) Carter
Chief Operating Officer
Derek Carter joined Bayview in January 2009 and is responsible for day-to-day management of the branch delivery of sales and service to our member owners. Derek brings over 30 years experience from his tenure with two large global financial institutions while working in southern New Brunswick. He has worked in finance, branch operations (both at the branch and regional supervisory levels), commercial credit and he has managed full-service branches for over 12 years.
He has extensive coaching experience in a sales and service environment and is looking forward to working with the Bayview team while they continue to deliver outstanding service to all.
Chief Financial Officer
Chris (Christine) Davies joined Bayview as CFO (Chief Financial Officer) in February 2008. With over 25 years in corporate finances, Chris applies her vast experience and education to help Bayview maintain a healthy balance sheet and achieve breakthrough success in all areas of financial performance.
Born and educated in England, Chris first moved to Canada in 1970 and then to Saint John in 1980. Her career in finances has advanced from Senior Accountant to Controller for multiple companies. During her tenure she has gained extensive knowledge in the area of corporate finances and has focused on developing teamwork and employee mentoring in her field. In 2001 Chris obtained her Certified General Accountant designation.
Ginny Hourihan
Human Resources Manager
HR Manager Ginny Hourihan helps to ensure that Bayview is not only a great place to bank but also a great place to work. She has held the designation of Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) since 1999 and is a member of the Human Resources Association of New Brunswick.
Ginny is a native of Halifax, Nova Scotia, who came to Saint John in 1985. She joined the Bayview team in 2002 after leaving a position as an HR manager in the Saint John hospitality industry. Previously, she worked as a career transition consultant, and as a job coach for single mothers.
Ginny’s business, academic, and human resources training and experience are invaluable in affording her a credibility at Bayview that reaches beyond personnel managing. She is an integral part of important considerations that move Bayview ahead in success.
Ginny serves on the board of directors for Family Plus/Life Solutions.
Patty Healy
Credit Manager
Patty manages the mortgage, car dealer plan, retail and commercial lending areas at Bayview Credit Union.
Patty joined the Bayview team in 2004 after 28 years experience at other financial institutions. Patty has worked in locations throughout New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland and Alberta. Her years of experience include retail lending and commercial banking. Having worked in the Saint John area for over 14 years, Patty is very familiar with area and enjoys working in southern New Brunswick.
Greg Pinfold
IT Manager
Greg manages the Information Technology Department at Bayview Credit Union. He oversees our IT support staff and provides leadership on the technology front.
A member of the Bayview management team since 1981, Greg assists with key planning and decisions that contribute to the growth and development of Bayview as a local industry leader.
