Become a Member
Bayview Credit Union is open for all New Brunswick residents to join. Those same values endure today, and becoming a member only requires a simple visit with one of our friendly branch staff members who can assist you with the new membership process.
You are welcome to visit any of our branch locations to open your account with Bayview—an appointment is recommended but may not be necessary. If you are unsure about what documents you should bring along, please call a branch of your choosing and one of our account opening specialists would be glad to help you get organized.
Important points to bear in mind:
Acceptable identification is required to become a new member and open an account at Bayview. Your Social Insurance Number will be requested to comply with Revenue Canada regulations, however, there are cases where this can be exempted. You will also need to provide 2 additional valid pieces of identification. One should preferably be photo identification, i.e. NB Driver’s License. If you have recently moved to New Brunswick, any provincial identification cards (i.e. driver’s license) should first be updated to your New Brunswick address. Non-New Brunswick driver’s license and health cards cannot be used as valid identification when opening an account at Bayview Credit Union.
You must be a New Brunswick resident to become a member and open a new account at Bayview.
Every member must purchase at least 1 membership share for $5.00 when opening a new account. You can purchase shares up to a maximum balance of $2,000.
